YouTubeInLign admin
No. If you subscribe/unsubscribe or create/remove playlists on YouTube, use the refresh button in the parent/admin portal to update InLign.

InLign adminchild/user app
Yes. Changes made in the parent/admin portal (for example adding or removing channels or playlists) are applied automatically to the child/user app.

YouTubeInLign admin:

  • Channels: Yes. New videos from already-imported channels are synced automatically.
  • Playlists: No. New videos you add to existing playlists require a manual refresh from the playlists feed on the admin dashboard.

InLign adminchild/user app: Updates appear automatically within 15 minutes if push notifications are enabled. If push notifications are off, changes appear when users manually refresh from the app or when the app restarts.

No. InLign removes access to comments, recommendations, and broader YouTube browsing features so the experience stays focused on assigned channels and playlists.

InLign is designed for intentional viewing rather than open browsing. Links that would normally take viewers to YouTube channels, recommendations, or other external content are disabled so users stay focused on the videos you've selected.
